Transparency & Trust
Real science. Products I actually use. Full transparency.
From Simon
I started The Proof because I wanted to help people cut through the noise and make better decisions about their health. That mission drives everything I do — every episode, every conversation, every piece of content.
It also drives how I approach partnerships. I want to be upfront about the brands I work with, why I chose them, and how these relationships allow me to keep every episode of the podcast free — no paywall, no premium tier, no exceptions.

My Standard
As someone who spends their life reviewing health research, I apply the same scientific rigour to partnerships that I do to every topic on the show. I look at the evidence, I scrutinise the ingredients, and I test the products myself.
The simplest test: would I recommend this to my family and closest friends? If the answer is not an unequivocal yes, the partnership does not happen.
How I Evaluate
I review the published research behind a product's claims. If the evidence is weak, cherry-picked, or non-existent, the conversation ends there.
I examine every ingredient list and expect complete transparency about sourcing, manufacturing, and third-party testing. If a brand cannot clearly explain what is in their product and why, they are not the right fit.
A partner's mission must align with the principles of this platform — promoting health through evidence, not trends. I look for companies genuinely trying to make a positive difference in people's lives.
This is non-negotiable. If I am going to put my name behind something, I need personal experience with it and the confidence to recommend it to the people I care about most.
My credibility is not for sale. Every recommendation I make is one I stand behind — because your health decisions deserve nothing less than honesty.

Keeping The Podcast Free
Every episode of The Proof podcast is available at zero cost. No paywall. No premium tier. No exclusive content locked behind a subscription. I believe access to quality, evidence-based health information should not depend on your ability to pay.
But producing a show at this level takes a team. Behind every episode are analysts who research topics and prepare for interviews, creatives who handle production and editing, and administrative staff who manage planning, scheduling, and distribution.
Partnerships cover these real costs. Without them, the podcast simply would not exist in its current form.

The Team
The Proof is far more than a one-person operation. I am supported by a team who share my commitment to delivering trustworthy, well-researched content.
Analysts
Research topics, review scientific literature, and help prepare for every conversation.
Creatives
Handle audio and video production, editing, design, and the visual identity of The Proof.
Administrative Staff
Manage guest coordination, scheduling, and distribution across platforms.
Your support of our partners directly supports these people and their work. Partnerships fund the team, the team produces the show, and the podcast stays free for everyone.
Full Transparency
The Proof receives financial compensation from brand partners — flat fees, affiliate commissions, or a combination. Regardless of the structure, my editorial independence is never compromised.
In some cases, I hold equity in a partner company. This means I benefit through product sales and company profits. I disclose these relationships because you deserve to know when my financial interest goes beyond a standard partnership.
Some links on the podcast, website, or social media may be affiliate links. I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always disclosed.
Sponsored segments within podcast episodes are clearly identified. You will always know when content is sponsored because I will tell you directly. I do not blur the line between editorial content and paid promotion.
No partner has editorial control over The Proof. My opinions, recommendations, and the topics I cover are entirely my own. Partners do not review, approve, or influence the editorial direction of the show.
For Brands
If your brand is genuinely helping people live healthier lives and you would like to explore working together, reach out through the Voicing Change Media network.
In a world full of paid promotions and hidden agendas, scepticism is healthy. I welcome it. Hold me to the highest standard — it is the standard I hold myself to.
If you ever have questions about a partnership or anything related to how The Proof operates, I genuinely want to hear from you. Reach out through my social channels or via the contact page on theproof.com.
Thank you for your trust, for listening, and for being part of this community. It is a privilege to do this work.
